Our Mission

The Warren Wilson College Writing Studio is a non-judgmental, focused, and productive place where you can bring your scholarly or creative writing projects. Our Crew provides assistance in every step of the writing process, whether you want to brainstorm for a short paper or come in weekly to share portions of your senior capstone. Consider us an extra set of eyes and ears and our studio a place to share ideas and get unstuck.

The Cole Study Room

The Cole Study Room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (with WWC ID Card).

In the Cole Room, you’ll find 3 computer stations, a printer, couches, and games.

Library Work Crews

Pew Learning Center and Ellison Library has three work crew opportunities: Circulation and Technical Services, Creative Technologies, and Sound Lab

Reserve Services

The library is phasing out traditional reserve services where faculty make books, journal articles, or DVDs available to their classes via library circulation. Since these items are not available to online students or when the library is closed, we recommend instructors use electronic and Open Educational Resources instead and link them from their Moodle pages.

Should you still need to place the occasional physical item on reserve, please fill out the form below, allowing several days for processing. Circulation periods are 3 hours, overnight, and 3 days. 3-hour items are commonly for Library Use Only.
